ViscoMotion wasn't born in a boardroom—it was built in a workshop. We are a small, New Jersey-based business making practical lubrication tools for the people who keep modern machines moving.
Our journey began in 2016 with a single Anet A8, when every successful print required patience, bed leveling, firmware tuning, troubleshooting rough bearings, and learning platforms like OctoPrint on a Raspberry Pi.
Every print was a lesson.
As the years went on, our passion for precision led us beyond Cartesian machines and into Delta printers, including the Anycubic Kossel. Each platform taught us something different about motion systems, maintenance, reliability, and the importance of proper lubrication.
While technology evolved, one thing never changed: precision machines still depend on proper maintenance.
Proof comes from the work.
Like many makers, we started by testing products already on the market. We experimented with different lubricants, application methods, and maintenance routines across countless hours of real-world printing.
Some products worked well. Others did not meet our expectations. Every success—and every failure—helped us understand what truly matters: smooth motion, long-lasting protection, and clean application.
The first person to test alongside us was a close friend who introduced us to 3D printing and operated a small print farm here in New Jersey. His honest feedback, paired with years of hands-on experience, helped shape the standards we follow today.
